Hi there, dear readers! The Fourth of July is coming up, and I’d like to say something inspirational, but honestly, I got nothin’. According to national polls, we Americans don’t like anybody or anything all that much right now. But, you know what? It’s not an election year, so no matter what the pundits say, we don’t have to decide who our favorite candidates are. Not yet. So let’s chill. Send out some healing energy to each other, say a prayer for peace, and enjoy time with your family and friends.
There’s a song my friends and I used to sing at gatherings and rallies, way back when we were young and confident we could make a difference. Here’s a video I found on YouTube of that very song, and I offer it, particularly to the women out there.
